How we helped Liang’s kitchen increase Yelp review and drive more customers.

The challenge

Cindy, the owner of Liang’s Kitchen, had just re-branded her restaurant, which at that time hadn’t received any yelp ratings for two months, specifically August and September 2016. And the two months before that, there were only two yelp reviews, a 1-star, and a 3-star. The restaurant’s Yelp rating had come down from 3.7 to 3.4. So she turned to us to help increase Yelp 5-star reviews, referrals, and word-of-mouth.


Here’s the result from October 1st to November 30th, a two-month period.

Reviews: Since using Smiley, Liang’s Kitchen, who had only two negative Yelp reviews over last four months, now has four 5-star reviews and two 4-star reviews which not only improves their overall Yelp rating(4.1 as of Dec. 1st, 2016) but drives new customers into the business.
